WHAT THE ZIP IS FOR

Download once, extract once, then use the same folder every time Chrome loads ReviewPort.

The Release ZIP is the package Chrome needs. After extraction, select the folder with manifest.json at its top level. You do not need an account, API key, or ReviewPort cloud workspace to complete the local installation.

INSTALLATION

Four steps before your first scan.

ReviewPort is loaded as an unpacked Chrome extension. Follow the sequence once; Chrome will remember the extension after it is loaded.

01

Download the Release ZIP

Get ReviewPort from the public GitHub Release, not from a source archive or raw branch link.

02

Extract the archive

Unzip it to a folder you can keep. Chrome cannot load the ZIP itself.

03

Load unpacked in Chrome

Open chrome://extensions, enable Developer mode, choose Load unpacked, and select the extracted folder with manifest.json directly inside it.

04

Pin and begin

Pin ReviewPort from Chrome’s Extensions menu, then open a TikTok Shop product page and its review area.

Choose the correct folder: in Chrome’s file picker, select the extracted folder that has manifest.json directly inside it. Selecting a parent folder or the ZIP will fail.

REPLACING AN UNPACKED FOLDER

Replace the unpacked folder carefully.

Download the new ZIP and extract it to a folder you keep. In chrome://extensions, remove the old card or select the new folder and choose Reload. Locally saved review data belongs to extension storage and may not carry over, so export anything you want to keep before upgrading.
