ReviewPort acts only after you start a scan from a TikTok Shop product page. It does not run background review collection.

ReviewPort is designed around the TikTok Shop page you choose to study. It keeps scanning local, pauses when verification needs your attention, and does not send review data to a developer server.
LOCAL-FIRST BY DESIGN
The extension works from the page you select, then leaves the next decision with you.
An export, a third-party spreadsheet, or an external AI service is a separate action you decide to take. ReviewPort has no account, API key, cloud review database, or remote review-data service.
Bounded local processing
During that scan, ReviewPort processes embedded page data and bounded TikTok Shop review-list responses locally. The observer is active only during a scan and is restored when it completes, pauses, stops, or errors.
Temporary local storage
Review data and preferences stay in Chrome extension storage on your device. You can clear saved results, and the extension is designed to clean up saved review data after seven days.
No unfiltered substitution
When an exact rating is numerically confirmed but TikTok does not expose a compatible review-list response, ReviewPort reads only the bounded visible filtered cards. It does not substitute unfiltered data.
